The \u201cOctagon Christmas Musical Night\u201d organized by the Perak Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCCI), was successfully held on the evening of 20 December 2025 at 6 pm, at the Wisma Octagon Mall, Octagon Concourse. Guest of honour was YB Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government, with YB Wong Kah Woh, Deputy Minister of Education, attending as his representative.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

At the event, it was announced that YB Nga Kor Ming had allocated RM20,000 to the PCCCI as activity funding. A mock cheque was presented by YB Wong Kah Woh, on behalf of YB Nga Kor Ming, to PCCCI President Dato\u2019 Liew Chee Ming, and witnessed by the state assemblymen YB Ong Boon Piow (ADUN Bercham), YB Goh See Hua (ADUN Pasir Pinji), YB Thulsi Manogaran (ADUN Buntong), PCCCI Honorary President Tan Sri Dato\u2019 Seri Lee Oi Hian, PCCCI Vice-Presidents Mr. Tan Huang Kew and Mr. Yap Kean Lye, Assistant Treasurer and Organizing Chairman Clr. The evening featured a diverse and vibrant lineup, with a total of 13 performance groups presenting captivating music and dance performances. While the performances took place on the ground floor, the first floor hosted eight booths and craft workshops for the public to enjoy and participate in.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The PCCCI sincerely thanks the Pertubuhan Kebudayaan dan Orkestra Cina Ipoh Perak\u2019s team, for their generous support in distributing free cupcakes, instant coffee, cookies, almond biscuits, and gingerbread to the public. The Ipoh city councillors who attended were Clr. Wong Kar Keat, Clr. Ng Haen Vee, Clr. Jack Chen Jian Cong, Clr. Lawrence A\/L R. Palanisamy and Clr. Sivam A\/L Kalimuthu. Among the PCCCI Central Committee attendees were Dato\u2019 Chin Lean Choong, Datuk Eric Koh Seng Kiat, Ir. Loh Ban Ho, Mr. Au Wai Yeen, Mr. Wong Lean Fatt, Mr. Cheong Chee Choon, Mr. Lin Chek Toong, Ms. Kok Shing Li and Ms. Ang Chan Moy.<\/p>
