PCCCI, Bursa Malaysia Berhad and Mercury Securities Group Berhad jointly organized the “Preparing for the Journey to Listing” seminar on 28 August 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the PCCCI 3rd Floor Pak Khuan Hall.
In his opening speech, Mr. Tan Sin Cheng emphasized that going public is more than just a financial milestone for companies - it represents a significant transformation. He noted that an IPO opens the door to expanded capital access, enhanced brand visibility, and the pursuit of sustainable development.
The seminar featured Mr. Lee Kuan Teck, Executive Vice President of Bursa Malaysia, as the keynote speaker. He delivered a talk titled “Road to IPO: Listing on Bursa Malaysia”, sharing valuable insights into the IPO process, strategic advantages of listing, and how companies can position themselves for a successful public offering.
Additionally, Mr. Woon See Soon, Senior General Manager at Mercury Securities Sdn Bhd, along with Mr. Yip Kah Weng, Associate Director, Corporate Finance, offered expert perspectives on key IPO preparation steps. Their session covered financial structuring, regulatory compliance, and critical elements businesses must consider early in the listing journey.
A total of 55 guests and members attended the seminar, including Mercury Securities Group Berhad Managing Director Mr. Chew Sing Guan, Independent Non-Executive Director Mr. Michael Chan Kim Hing, and PCCCI Central Committees - Mr. Tan Chong Seng, Mr. Chong Wei Lik, Ir.
